Our Story

Barry comes from over 30 years of business management and customer service experience. He successfully managed, operated, built relationships through, and grew, another local awning company over a 7-year period to an increase of over 270%, to eventually find himself needing to step-down due to new ownership; as a result, Shade Crafters was formed.

Founded with a simple mission: to help homeowners and businesses create comfortable, and enjoyable outdoor spaces. Believing that the right shade solution can transform any area into a functional extension of your living or working environment. He has partnered with Delta, Emory, Tyler Perry Studios, Taco Mac, Tacos and Tequilla's, White Water, Silverbacks Stadium, among many other prominent businesses and entertainment centers and local family communities throughout Atlanta. He looks forward to visiting with you and welcoming you to the family.
